We are now seeking a Tenancy Management Advisor to join our frontline Neighbourhoods & Tenancy Services team and play a key role in delivering a responsive, customer-focused housing service.
If you have experience in lettings, estate agency, local council housing or customer service within the housing sector, this is your opportunity to bring your skills into a meaningful role where you'll play a key part in delivering a responsive, customer-focused housing service.
What you'll be doing
Act as the first point of contact for ASB and tenancy management queries
Provide clear, accurate advice and guidance to customers
Support early intervention approaches including mediation and prevention
Manage and update case records accurately using CRM systems
Support tenancy changes including joint-to-sole applications, household updates and bereavement cases
Investigate issues such as abandonment, illegal subletting and tenancy breaches
Carry out risk assessments and support case planning
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies including police, local authorities and safeguarding partners
Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies
About you
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and customer-focused, with experience in housing, ASB or a similar frontline service environment.
Experience in ASB, tenancy management or housing-related casework
Some knowledge of housing law, tenancy processes and safeguarding principles
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
