We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender Engineer with a strong Offshore, Energy or EPC background to lead tender activities while managing and coordinating a small team of Tender/Engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and coordinate a small tender team, allocating workload and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
- Take ownership of tenders and proposals from initial enquiry through to final submission.
- Review client specifications and develop technical scopes of work.
- Prepare and oversee cost estimates, technical offers and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Sourcing, Commercial teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and support commercial negotiations.
- Identify technical and commercial risks, assumptions, exclusions and opportunities.
- Lead client technical clarifications and tender review meetings.
- Ensure effective handover from tender to project execution following contract award.
Requirements
- Strong Offshore, Offshore Wind, Energy or EPC background.
- Proven experience in tendering, proposals, estimating or bid engineering.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small team. xwzovoh
