Test Engineering Lead

Job Title: Senior Recruitment Consultant - Cloud, DevOps & Testing

Location: Glasgow - Hybrid

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Glasgow-based financial services client as they develop a new digital platform and modernize their IT estate. We are seeking a seasoned Test Engineering Lead to help build and implement comprehensive test strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance testing capabilities in complex environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans and strategies.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and improve testing processes.
3. Build and implement test frameworks for manual and automated testing.
4. Apply knowledge of various testing types and methodologies to complex environments.
5. Promote a culture of quality and knowledge sharing through code reviews and collaboration.

Key Experience:

• Ability to build test capabilities and frameworks.
• Experience creating and executing automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Java and Cucumber.
• Understanding of BDD testing concepts.
• Experience with large-scale, complex environments.
• Knowledge of authorization and authentication technologies (beneficial but not essential).
• AWS cloud experience (desirable).
• Proactive, driven, and enthusiastic attitude.
