Test Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB10) Job Type: Permanent Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5.00pm Friday (37 hours per week) Salary: £25k - £30k dependent on experience Job Reference: 36280 Polytec are looking for a hands-on Test Technician to join our south Cambridgeshire based client. The successful candidate will join our client's laboratory team to work on a range of innovative medical and drug delivery devices. Responsibilities - Carry out mechanical and functional testing, including environmental conditioning, inspections and physical measurements - Follow test methods, protocols, SOPs and work instructions - Accurately record test data and results - Use a range of test equipment, bespoke rigs and laboratory systems - Handle chemicals and pharmaceutical formulations safely - Support project teams in delivering testing milestones Requirements - Previous experience in laboratory or technical testing - Experience recording test data accurately - Good understanding of health and safety procedures - Ideally, experience within a medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated environment - Practical, methodical and detail-focused approach - Good communication and teamwork skills - Able to manage changing priorities and learn new technical skills - A relevant degree or equivalent experience would be advantageous Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
