We're looking fora reliable andhardworking Tig Mop Operative to joinourbusy mechanical productionteam. No previousTig Mopping experienceis required
we'llprovide full training. This isa hands-onrole where you'llremove weld marksfrom metal productsusing mild acid-based cleaning productswhile following safeworking procedures. You'llalso support theproductionteam with assemblywork when needed. If you enjoypractical work, takepride in producinghigh-quality resultsand want tobe part ofa supportive team, we'd love tohear from you.
What You'll Do
Remove weld marksand discolouration frommetal products usingmildacid cleaning products. Follow all healthand safety proceduresand wear therequired PPE. Meet daily productiontargets while maintaininghigh quality standards. Assemble products usinghand and airtools when required. Inspect finished productsto ensure theymeet quality standards. Operate equipment safelyand report anyfaults. Work as partof the productionteam to meetcustomer deadlines. Support continuous improvementby helping toimprove safety, qualityand efficiency. Previous factory, productionor assembly experienceis desirable butnot essential. Experience using handtools or productionequipment is anadvantage. Good attention todetail. Reliable with goodtimekeeping. Positive attitude andwillingness to learn. Able to workindependently and aspart of ateam. Good communication skills. A strong commitmentto health andsafety. About the Role This isanactive role thatinvolves: Standing for longperiods. Repetitive tasks. Manual handling Wearingfull PPEin the TigMop area. Following company proceduresand safe workingpractices at alltimes Full training andongoing support willbe provided.
