Welders & Fabricators TIG Welders Aerospace Manufacturing | Dunstable | Full Time, Permanent £38,000 - £51K per annum (depending on experience) Starting salary £38,305 nights includes shift premium so £51k Inclusive of shift premium DAY shift and NIGHT Shift available Monday to Thursday four day week Response Personnel is recruiting Welders and Fabricators / TIG Welders on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Dunstable. These are full time, permanent positions offered on either a day shift or night shift, with a four-day working week and excellent overtime opportunities. Shift Pattern & Hours Four day week: Monday to Thursday Day shift: 6.00am - 3.45pm or 7.00am - 4.45pm Night shift: 3.45pm - 1.30am (night shift premium: an additional 1/3 pay) Contracted hours: 37 hours, Monday to Thursday Overtime generally available Friday and Saturday, paid at x1.5Salary & Benefits £38,000 - £51k depending on experience and shift 20.5 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 22 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 3 years Subsidised canteen Life Assurance x3 Company Sick Pay (after successful probationary period) Enhanced Pension Scheme - joinable from Day 1, with flexible contributions via salary sacrifice Access to an Independent Financial Advisor for pension advice Non-contributory Income Protection Insurance Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) On-site car parking On-site shower facilitiesThe Role Production of ducting components using various metals including stainless steel, Titanium and Inconel MIG and TIG welding experience Ability to operate a turntable controlled with a foot pedal, and to operate a welding chamber (Glove Box) Ability to obtain and maintain approval stamps Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Previous experience within the Aerospace industry is desirable Do you have experience working with ducting? Can you read and understand engineering drawings, and are you comfortable working with hand tools (snips, hammers, abrasive pads, etc.)? Materials include - Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium before? Recent TIG welding experience, and have you TIG welded Stainless Steel, Titanium and/or nickel alloy tubes with around a 0.71mm wall thickness and 6.35mm diameter Are you comfortable using a foot controller while TIG welding? Do you have Aerospace Experience Have you used a turntable when TIG welding before?
