As a TIG Welder (141) with a trusted manufacturer into the Defence sector supply chain, you'll be working on safety-critical aluminium and stainless-steel fabrications for projects that protect lives and support national defence. Duties Perform TIG (141) welding on aluminium fabrications ranging from 1.5mm - 30mm Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively Conduct visual inspection of welds to BS EN ISO 17673:2022 standards Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Continue internal and external training to maintain qualification to BS EN ISO 9606 Essential skills Proven experience with TIG (141) welding aluminium Experience working to certified or highly regulated standards Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances Good organisational and problem-solving skills Desirable: Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Motorsport, or similar industries Previous coding to ISO 9606-1/2 NVQ/City & Guilds in welding, fabrication, or a relevant engineering subject This is a career opportunity with an employer of choice in Worcestershire Please apply with your CV in the first instance.
