Toddler Room Leader Location: South London Salary: Up to £17.50 per hour Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week over 5 days Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to take the next step in your career? The Role As Toddler Room Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy toddler room, ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding are maintained at all times.
You'll lead by example, support and mentor your team, and work closely with the wider management team to create an engaging, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire the Toddler Room team Deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS Plan engaging activities that promote children's development Complete observations, assessments and learning journeys Build strong relationships with parents and carers Support and mentor practitioners within the room Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are consistently followed Maintain a warm, caring and inclusive environment for every child Requirements Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or an experienced Level 3 looking to step up Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework Strong leadership and organisational skills A positive, enthusiastic and child-centred approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills What's on Offer? xwzovoh Up to £17.50 per hour Full-time permanent position (40 hours over 5 days) Supportive and experienced leadership team Ongoing professional development and training Excellent opportunities for career progression A welcoming nursery with a genuine focus on staff wellbeing and development If you're ready to lead a fantastic team and help shape the early years experiences of young children, we'd love to hear from you.
