Our client, an innovative company at the cutting edge of electric propulsion technology, requires a talented Tooling Manufacturing Engineer to join its dynamic team.

This is a contract role outside IR35.
R esponsibilities: Provide tooling design support & DFM/A input Define tooling requirements alongside manufacturing method Design and validate production tooling and fixtures Produce complete tooling documentation & lifecycle controls Support prototype builds, tooling commissioning and process improvement Requirements: Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience Significant and demonstrable experience in the design and development of production tooling within an aerospace or automotive environment Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their limitations Experience using CAD software: Solidworks/NX/Catia Experience of PFMEA and Control Plan development leading xwzovoh to robust process development Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and scheduling Experience in completing risk assessments and ergonomic assessments Ability to support and plan for future opportunities/volumes, while having the ability to manage day-to-day activities
