The Job Youll Do; Diagnose and repair in-press tooling breakdowns, carrying out effective die and tool maintenance to minimise production downtime.
Perform planned preventative maintenance on dies and tooling to maximise equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Identify and resolve pressing quality issues promptly to maintain product quality and minimise waste.
Carry out welding activities using TIG, MIG, and ARC welding techniques as required.
Undertake general bench fitting, repair, and assembly work to support tooling maintenance and production requirements.
Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and ensure full compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct root cause analysis of tooling and production issues, contributing to corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support tooling commissioning, die modifications, and engineering change activities to improve performance and meet production requirements.
About you; A relevant apprenticeship in Die Maintenance or Toolmaking.
ONC, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance or an Engineering discipline.
Preventative die/tool maintenance experience.
Experience with presses, machining, and welding. xwzovoh
