Job Title: Town Planner Ref: BM282 Location: Truro Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who offer award-winning expertise to the residential and commercial sectors. They are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Town Planner to hit the ground running for their Truro office. Benefits for the role of Town Planner include: Highly competitive salary Generous holiday allowance Hybrid working Contributory pension scheme Professional development Personal developmentDuties for the role of Town Planner include: Providing planning advice to clients across a range of development sectors Undertaking planning appraisals and assessing the development potential of sites Preparing, coordinating and submitting planning applications and associated submissions Managing a varied caseload of projects, from smaller bespoke schemes through to larger and more complex developments Undertaking research into planning policy, legislation and relevant guidance Preparing planning statements, reports and other supporting documentation Liaising with local planning authorities, statutory consultees, consultants and other stakeholders Supporting negotiations with planning officers and other key stakeholders. Assisting with planning appeals, hearings and other post-application matters where required Working closely with architects, landscape architects and other members of the wider project teamSkills and experience for the role of Town Planner: A degree or equivalent qualification in Town Planning, Planning, Geography or a related discipline Relevant experience as a Town Planner within a planning consultancy, local authority or property environment Good working knowledge of the UK planning system and development management Experience preparing planning applications and supporting documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities The confidence to manage your own workload while contributing positively to a wider team A commercially aware and client-focused approach Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality written workIf This role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to architecture please feel free to contact Ben Moore on (phone number removed) or email .
