Trade Counter Salesperson, Trade Counter Assistant, Sales Assistant, Customer Service Advisor, Timber Merchant Assistant, Builders Merchant Assistant, Retail Sales Assistant, or Branch Assistant . Shifts • Monday, Tuesday and Friday
• 6 hours per day
• Occasional Saturdays may be required during the winter months Rates of Pay • £12.71 per hour Benefits As a Trade Counter Salesperson, you will receive: • Weekly pay

• Part-time working pattern Day-to-Day Duties As a Trade Counter Salesperson, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Serving customers and providing exceptional customer service
• Handling transactions accurately and professionally
• Dealing with email and telephone enquiries
• Resolving customer queries efficiently
• Supporting stock control and replenishment activities
• Assisting with the sale of timber and building products
• Ensuring the store remains clean, organised, and visually appealing
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge and promoting products where appropriate Essential Skills To be successful as a Trade Counter Salesperson, you will need: • Previous experience within a trade counter, timber merchant, or builders merchant environment is preferred
• Knowledge of timber products is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good numeracy skills
• Confident, professional, and well-presented manner
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently Desirable Experience • Previous sales experience within a merchant or retail environment
