Are you someone who loves solving problems, thinking on your feet and keeping everything organised? We're looking for a
Traffic Planner
to become the heartbeat of a busy transport operation. You'll be responsible for planning deliveries, supporting drivers, communicating with customers and making sure everything gets where it needs to be
safely, efficiently and on time. No two days are the same, so if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy finding solutions, this could be the perfect role. What you'll be doing:
Planning daily vehicle routes and delivery schedules
Coordinating drivers and ensuring deliveries run smoothly
Responding quickly to delays, traffic issues and last-minute changes
Liaising with customers, drivers and internal departments
Keeping transport records and documentation accurate
Supporting the accounts team with delivery queries
Monitoring vehicle compliance and inspection schedules
Working with depot teams to maximise efficiency and reduce costs
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience within transport, logistics or distribution
Is organised and can juggle multiple priorities
Stays calm under pressure and enjoys problem solving
Has excellent communication skills
Is confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems
Can build positive relationships with drivers, customers and colleagues
