What is an RO1?

1 is the first of six modules towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). It covers the financial services industry, regulation, and ethics - giving you the foundational knowledge needed to begin your journey as an adviser

All offers are conditional on successfully completing the R

1 exam before your start date in January 2027. If you have not yet completed R

(6 months) Shadow a senior adviser, developing practical skills and understanding what excellent advice looks like in practice, while gradually taking on more responsibility. Successful completion of Term 3 marks your graduation from the Academy and your official start as a Mattioli Woods adviser.
