Job Description Paralegal Residential PropertyEdinburgh | Full-Time | Permanent | Salary DOEAbout the EmployerWe are delighted to be supporting a respected legal firm with the recruitment of a Paralegal to join its specialist Private Wealth Property team in Edinburgh.This is a key role supporting residential conveyancing matters across Scotland, including sales, title transfers, discharges of standard securities and associated property documentation.The OpportunityWe are seeking an organised and detail-focused Paralegal to support two practising solicitors with residential conveyancing transactions from application through to completion.The role would suit someone confident dealing directly with clients, managing documentation and helping to maintain high service standards across a busy property team.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport residential house sale processes from application to completion.Prepare correspondence, LBTT drafts, registration forms and conveyancing documentation.Order legal reports, plans reports and associated property searches.Liaise with solicitors, legal support colleagues and clients to maintain service standards.Prepare monthly and quarterly transaction status reports.Attend relevant CPD, training and networking events where required.Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the supervising solicitor.Candidate ProfileEssential Skills & ExperienceKnowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing, including sasine and land registered titles.Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Good IT, office systems and file management skills.Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work accurately under supervision.Proactive, professional and collaborative approach.Confident building relationships with clients and colleagues.DesirableLaw degree, paralegal qualification or directly relevant work experience.Whats on OfferPermanent, full-time role based in Edinburgh.Opportunity to join a specialist Private Wealth Property team.Client-facing role with ongoing training and CPD support.Next StepsTo learn more about this opportunity, please submit your application or contact our team on Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
