Your New Role

As Transport Manager, you will take responsibility for the overall management and optimisation of transport operations, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of products to customers. You will provide leadership to the transport team while driving operational performance, cost efficiency, and service excellence across the fleet operation.Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day transport operations, including fleet management, route planning, and vehicle maintenance.
• Leading, developing, and motivating the transport team to achieve operational objectives.
• Ensuring full compliance with Operator Licence requirements, DVSA regulations, tachograph legislation, and driver hours regulations.
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Managing transport incidents, breakdowns, and operational disruptions whilst maintaining service levels.
