Job Description We are currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our Warrens Transport Team at our Rugby site. As a Transport Planner you will be contributing to the success of the transport team, you will be responsible for completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day to day challenges in providing an effective transport plan. Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 18:00 - 06:00 Salary: Up to £33,000 Per Annum. Key Duties of a Transport Planner: Workwithin the Transport team despatching and controlling the daily plan. Update and controltime critical collections and deliveries with over 120routes within 24 hours. Communicate with both warehouse and customer service regardingany delays. Reporting problems and dealing with issues that come up on shift. Maintaining and exceeding agreed KPIs. Proactively look for continuous improvements. Make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescale. Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year. Qualifications Good geographical knowledge of the UK. Good knowledge of EU Driverhours and WTD. Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook. Experience of transport planning. Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment. Customer focus on delivery performance. Commercially and financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results. Experience of using a TMS system. Experience ina retail FMCG environment preferred.
