This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding business, playing a key role in the planning and optimisation of transport operations across multiple depot locations. The Role As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the planning, optimisation and execution of delivery schedules across your allocated depots. Working closely with drivers, depot teams, sales and operational stakeholders, you will ensure customer requirements are met whilst maintaining fleet efficiency, compliance and operational performance. The role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Transport Planning & Route Optimisation * Produce efficient and cost-effective daily delivery schedules. * Optimise routes to maximise fleet utilisation and minimise mileage. * Reduce empty running and improve vehicle productivity. * Balance workloads across drivers and vehicles. * Coordinate delivery schedules to meet customer requirements. * Respond to changing operational demands and adjust plans accordingly.
