TRANSPORT/PLANNER/SCHEDULER

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day-to-day challenges in providing an effective transport plan. Minimum of 1 years' experience of working within a transport or planning office Excellent Telephone manner Highly competent with PC literate - Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Transport IT/ web based systems Customer focused at all times ensuring top quality service levels Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from Warehouse and Transport teams Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information Promptly answering telephone in a professional manner and dealing with field and customer enquiries Liaise with Warehousing and Traffic teams to understand any unplanned issues and offer resolutions in planning to the management of loads Maximise Load Fill for all outbound deliveries Free uniform & PPE provided.
