Our client is a successful and growing business within the construction sector and is looking to recruit a Transport & Scheduling Coordinator to take ownership of a newly created position. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Transport Suppliers and Customers, you'll play a key role in ensuring deliveries and installations are planned efficiently and projects are completed successfully. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate transport across UK Rental, UK Sales and EMEA Sales * Schedule transport and installation activities * Liaise with Operations regarding availability and logistics * Build strong relationships with transport suppliers * Maintain accurate transport and project schedules * Coordinate imported goods with the Purchasing team * Ensure information is communicated effectively across departments Ideal Background Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in: * Transport Coordination * Logistics * Distribution * Hire Controller / Hire Desk * Operations Coordination * Builders' Merchants * Plant Hire * Construction Products * Customer Service & Scheduling The Person You'll be highly organised, an excellent communicator and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
