in the Andover area is looking for an experienced

Transport Supervisor

to support its day-to-day transport operation, working on the PM shift. You'll be instrumental in supporting your team, upholding high-quality levels and performance standards, all while promoting best-in-class safety practices. As a main point of contact, you'll seamlessly interact with customers and colleagues, becoming an integral part of their ongoing success. customer transport requirements . Serving as a key management liaison for

customer interactions . Optimising the coordination of

internal fleet and subcontractors

for maximum cost-effectiveness. Leading day-to-day

driver management , focusing on team development, training, and operational efficiency. Strategic management of suppliers, including

subcontractors, agencies and maintenance providers , to control operational spend. Ensuring peak reliability and presentation through regular

driver, vehicle and trailer checks . Guaranteeing full adherence to all company internal processes, procedures, and

O Licence legislative requirements . Compiling and presenting weekly

management information and operational reports . Key Requirements 23 years' experience

in a similar Transport Supervisor / Transport Operations role. The ability to successfully

manage and develop a team . Strong understanding of current

UK transport legislation . Hands-on experience with

O Licence compliance . Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach to transport operations and problem-solving. Salary & Benefits Up to £35,000.00 per annum MondayFriday working pattern Hours
