Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor in ENT (equivalent to ST1/2) to join the ENT team at Whipps Cross Hospital.
This is a training gap from 07 October 2026 until 04 April 2027.
Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate commitment to teamwork with colleagues, develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of ENT patient actively participate in the teaching audit and research in the department. The post holder will participate in an on-call rota of 1:8

- MRCS Part 1 & 2
- DOHNS
Knowledge
Essential
- Basic knowledge of ENT conditions and emergency management
Desirable
- Previous experience of managing ENT emergencies
Prior Experience/ Management/Audit Experience
Essential
- Completion of FY1 and FY2 year
Desirable
- Previous ENT experience and experience in other surgical specialities.
- Previous participation in Audit Projects
Academic Achievements / Research and Publications
Desirable
- Research/Publications in ENT and related specialties
Personal Skills
Essential
- Can communicate well in English
- Good interpersonal skills
