CNC Turner (Programmer / Setter / Operator) Location: Larkhall Salary: £20.00 per hour Overtime Annual Bonus Job Type: Permanent The CNC Turner Opportunity Our client, a well established precision engineering company, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing manufacturing team on a permanent day shift. The company supplies high quality precision components to a range of demanding industries and has built an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and customer service. The CNC Turner Role As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications. Working from engineering drawings, you will produce high-quality parts to tight tolerances while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and efficiency. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with precision components in a modern machining environment. CNC Turner Key Responsibilities Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. Manufacturing precision components using a brand-new CMZ CNC Lathe. Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards. Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods. Carrying out in-process inspection to ensure components meet specification. Machining a variety of engineering materials. Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and delivery schedules. Previous experience as a CNC Turner. Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes. Experience machining precision components to demanding tolerances. Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach. Manufacturing components for the Oil & Gas industry. Offline programming. Machining a range of materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, alloys and other specialist materials. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm Enjoy an early finish every Friday, supporting a healthy work life balance. Salary £20.00 per hour.
