React | TypeScript | Hybrid | Salary DOE

We're partnering with a growing technology company that's investing heavily in its engineering team and looking for a UI Engineer to help shape the next generation of its software platform.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, product-focused engineering environment where you'll have the chance to make a real impact while continuing to develop your skills.

The Role

This is a front-end focused position (approximately 70% UI / 30% back end) with a clear development path towards full-stack engineering for anyone interested in expanding their technical expertise.

You'll play a key role in building a shared UI framework, creating reusable components, and delivering a consistent user experience across multiple applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop modern user interfaces using React and TypeScript.

  • Build and maintain reusable UI components and shared design patterns.

  • Help create a scalable front-end framework used across multiple products.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver new features.

  • Improve user experience through thoughtful UI enhancements.

  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.

  • Contribute to automated testing using Playwright and support CI/CD improvements.

  • Gain exposure to back-end development over time.

What We're Looking For

  • Commercial experience with React and TypeScript - ideally 3 years+

  • Strong understanding of modern front-end development.

  • Experience writing unit tests.

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn.

  • Interest in developing broader full-stack skills.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary (DOE).

  • Opportunity to work alongside an experienced engineering team.

  • Clear progression and ongoing technical development.

  • Collaborative, product-led environment with genuine ownership.

  • The chance to influence a growing platform from an early stage.

  • Fully flexible working arrangements - must be based in NI

If you're looking for a role where you can continue developing as a front-end engineer while gaining exposure to the wider software development lifecycle, we'd love to hear from you.
