ABOUT THE ROLE As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) at Derham House care home in Upminster, you'll use your compassion and initiative to make sure our residents get the quality care they deserve. Main duties of the job

As a Unit Nurse Manager at Derham House Care Home in Upminster, you'll be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of nursing care that meets the needs of the residents. Your role will involve creating person-centred care plans and facilitating professional development programs. Besides clinical duties, you will also be expected to manage staff by planning rotas, recruiting, training, and mentoring. You must build relationships with local regulators and social services, work autonomously, and lead the unit effectively. The role requires you to have a Registered Nurse qualification with a current NMC registration, be experienced in developing care plans, and have knowledge of current clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.
