Your Role as a Supply Teaching Assistant
Working as a supply Teaching Assistant, you may support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in primary schools throughout Wolverhampton.
Depending on the school and year group, your day could involve:
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning
Providing 1:1 or small-group support
Helping pupils develop their reading, phonics, writing and maths skills
Supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs
Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
Helping pupils remain engaged and confident in lessons
Supporting classroom routines, play and emotional development
Building experience across different primary school environments
