We have an exciting opportunity available for a permanent Urgent care Practitioner to join our Urgent Care Team. You will be part of a forward thinking and dynamic directorate who have recently been recognised for their achievements by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. We are currently working in alliance with James cook and Redcar.

Job responsibilities

You will be working as part of a well established urgent care team and the wider multi disciplinary team to promote a good patient experience within the Trust.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered First Level Degree Nurse or paramedic
  • Physical Assessment & Disease Management skills.
  • Paediatric Clinical Skills
  • Minor Injury Experience
  • Acute care experience

Desirable

  • Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice or willingness to undertake
  • Independent Nurse Prescriber

Experience

Essential

  • Recent experience working in an autonomous practice role.
  • Experience at band 6/7 in an acute setting.
  • Paediatric emergency care experience.
  • x-ray interpretation

Desirable

  • Experience of working to protocols or guidelines.
