Job Description Uro-Gynae Nurse Specialist Birmingham & Sandwell Community Clinics Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Our client is recruiting a Uro-Gynae Nurse Specialist to join its growing Community Gynaecology Service across Birmingham and Sandwell. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community-based gynaecology services, providing assessment, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management for women with urogynaecological conditions. Working alongside Consultants, GPwERs, Specialist Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals, you will lead nurse-led clinics and provide expert support for patients with urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections, and other pelvic floor disorders. Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, including bladder diaries, pelvic examinations, and pad testing Undertake catheterisation procedures and long-term catheter management Deliver conservative management programmes including pelvic floor training and bladder retraining Act as a key worker coordinating patient care across multidisciplinary services Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of patient care and safety What We’re Looking For NMC Registered Nurse Experience working within Gynaecology, Urology, or Continence Services Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between clinic locations Desirable ~ Specialist qualification in Urogynaecology or Continence Care Experience working across community and secondary care pathways What’s on Offer ~ Opportunity to work within a growing specialist community service Consultant-led MDT support and regular clinical development opportunities Ongoing training, education, and professional development Opportunity to help shape innovative community gynaecology services If you are an experienced Nurse Specialist with a background in Urogynaecology, Continence Care, or Women's Health, we would welcome a confidential discussion.
