User Researcher

Rate: £530/day Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months initially

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to support the delivery of digital services within a complex Home Office environment. The role will sit within a multidisciplinary delivery team, conducting research to understand user needs, behaviours and pain points and using those findings to shape the design and development of services. The successful candidate may support a number of service areas, including Digital Notebooks, Manage Appointment Booking, and Restoring Order & Control

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and conduct user research across digital services and products

* Identify user needs, behaviours, pain points and opportunities for improvement

* Design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research activities, including interviews, usability testing, workshops and contextual research

* Analyse research findings and translate them into clear, actionable insights

* Work closely with Service Designers, Interaction Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts and delivery teams

* Support iterative design and development by testing concepts, prototypes and live services with users
