Are you a technical specialist looking to leave legacy systems behind and build something from the ground up, shaping the processes and culture of a brand-new regional hub?
An established,Tier 1 Specialist Consultancy is launching a new North West England operation and seeking ambitious Utility & Topographical Surveyors to be the founding members. This is a rare opportunity to define operational standards, engage with a fresh portfolio of clients, and fast-track your career without the red tape of an established, rigid regional office.
The Opportunity :
You will play a vital role in executing accurate site surveys while establishing best-practice workflows for a new team:
Acting as a founding technical surveyor for high-precision topographical and underground utility surveys.
Implementing new, streamlined data processing workflows for translating field data into 2D/3D CAD models.
Utilizing modern GPR, EML, and standard surveying equipment (Total Stations, GNSS) on regional projects.
Directly influencing health, safety, and operational protocols
Technical Essentials :
To be successful, you must demonstrate high-level technical proficiency and a commitment to regulatory excellence:
Mandatory:
Valid CSCS Card and relevant industry qualifications (e.g., NRSWA, ProQual Level 3/4).
Compliance Expert:
Deep working knowledge of PAS 128 utility mapping frameworks and modern land surveying protocols.
System Knowledge:
Expert use of modern surveying hardware (Leica/Trimble) and AutoCAD, with an appetite for establishing best-practice workflows.
Mobility:
Full UK Driving License (Regional travel required).
The Package :
Competitive salary (Approx £30,000 - 50,000 DOE) with high-spec company vehicle.
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
