Van Driver Location: Accrington Salary: £33,421.44 per annum Hours: Average 48 hours per week Contract: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Van Driver to join our team in Accrington on a 3-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for a temporary role with a well-established organisation. The Role As a Van Driver, your responsibilities will include: Driving a company van safely and responsibly. Completing local and regional deliveries. Loading and unloading goods safely. Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects. Providing a professional and friendly service to customers. Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation. Following all company procedures and health and safety requirements. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Holds a full UK driving licence. Has previous van driving or delivery experience. Has a good knowledge of local and surrounding roads. Is reliable, punctual and professional. Has excellent customer service and communication skills. Is physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods. Can work independently while maintaining high standards. Has a strong commitment to safe driving.
