The Role:
As a Van Driver, you will play a key role in delivering DELI LITES’ freshly made ‘Food To Go’ products to customers across Northern Ireland in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
This role exists to ensure that our high-quality products reach customers in excellent condition, maintaining delivery standards and supporting overall customer satisfaction.
You will contribute to the business by acting as a brand ambassador on the road, providing excellent customer service while ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and in line with operational requirements. You will reflect DELI LITES’ core values of quality, legality, and authenticity in all aspects of your role.
Your Duties:
- Drive a company vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter Van) to deliver products to customers across Northern Ireland.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in line with daily schedules.
- Load, secure, and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate, timely, and meet customer expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a professional representative of the DELI LITES brand.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding deliveries and issues.
- Carry out any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by your Line Manager.

- Valid C Class driving licence.
- Previous driving and delivery experience.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible hours (Monday to Saturday).
- Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.

- Experience working within a logistics or distribution environment.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries.
- Basic IT literacy.
