Van Driver – Thurrock Location: Thurrock Salary: £13.50 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Minimum 8 hours per shift Prism 7 Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our client’s team in Thurrock on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries across a variety of locations, including: * Central London * Greater London * The Home Counties * East Anglia The majority of the London deliveries are covered by a dedicated driver; however, the successful candidate will occasionally be required to cover London routes when needed. Drivers will work a minimum of 8 hours per shift. If deliveries are completed ahead of schedule, the driver will return to the yard and assist the yard team with loading vehicles for the following day, along with other general yard duties as required. Start times will vary depending on the delivery locations scheduled for the following day. What We’re Looking For * Full UK driving licence * Previous van driving/delivery experience preferred * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic * Flexible approach to working hours and delivery locations * Happy to assist with general yard duties when required * Good customer service and communication skills Recruitment Process Our client is keen to meet potential candidates and is happy for successful applicants to work for a day or two initially.
