Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle damage assessments utilizing the Audatex system
- Produce detailed and accurate repair cost estimates
- Liaise effectively with customers, insurance assessors, and repair technicians to facilitate smooth communication
- Identify hidden damages and provide informed recommendations for repairs
- Ensure all assessments comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Source parts and materials, negotiating prices and delivery timelines
- Document assessment findings meticulously and maintain clear records
- Stay updated on the latest repair methodologies and industry best practices
- Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve disputes
Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor
- Proficiency with Audatex software is essential
- NVQ Level 3 qualification and ATA or IMI certification preferred
- Experience within a bodyshop environment is highly desirable
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence is mandatory
