Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle damage assessments utilizing the Audatex system
  • Produce detailed and accurate repair cost estimates
  • Liaise effectively with customers, insurance assessors, and repair technicians to facilitate smooth communication
  • Identify hidden damages and provide informed recommendations for repairs
  • Ensure all assessments comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Source parts and materials, negotiating prices and delivery timelines
  • Document assessment findings meticulously and maintain clear records
  • Stay updated on the latest repair methodologies and industry best practices
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve disputes

Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor
  • Proficiency with Audatex software is essential
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification and ATA or IMI certification preferred
  • Experience within a bodyshop environment is highly desirable
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence is mandatory
