An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced
Vehicle Technician
with a minimum of
3 years' experience
to join a highly skilled and supportive workshop team. You will work on a wide range of vehicles, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs and maintenance using high-quality diagnostic equipment and workshop facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys solving complex problems, takes pride in their workmanship and is keen to continue developing their skills. Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs. Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults. Use professional diagnostic equipment to identify faults. Carry out engine repairs and timing chain work. Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional work required. Work on a range of prestige and premium vehicles. Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard. Work independently to diagnose and resolve technical problems. Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop environment. Communicate effectively with colleagues, management and customers. Qualifications & Profile
The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 3 years' experience
as a Vehicle Technician. NVQ Level 3 minimum
or equivalent automotive qualification. MOT Licence preferred but not essential. MOT training can be provided for the right candidate. Strong experience in vehicle diagnostics. Familiarity with professional diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently and solve technical problems. Strong team-working skills. Excellent communication skills. Smart and presentable appearance. Full, clean UK driving licence. Own transport. Own tools. A willingness to develop and undertake further training. Desirable Experience
Experience with
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)
would be highly advantageous. Additional desirable experience includes: Engine repairs and timing chains. Electrical diagnostics. Previous experience as an independent technician. Previous manufacturer/dealer training. MOT testing
preferred but not essential.
