Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Our client, a reputable family-run independent service centre established in 1991, is seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians to join their expanding team. Benefits: Salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience Optional overtime opportunities 25 days holiday plus bank holidays In-house training and professional development Workplace pension scheme Stable, expanding family-run business with over 30 years’ industry presence Monday to Friday working hours, with modified early finish options if targets are metDuties: Conduct diagnosis, servicing, and repair of a wide range of cars and vans to high standards Accurately diagnose faults and vehicle conditions and report findings Ensure all work complies with quality, health, and safety standards Perform MOT tests to Ministry of Transport standards (if holding MOT qualification) Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, ensuring workload is completed efficientlyRequirements: NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred but not essential Strong practical experience as a Vehicle Technician, particularly for Vehicle Technicians without formal qualifications Valid UK driving licence with minimal points MOT licence (desirable but not essential; MOT focus available for qualified MOT testers) Ability to produce high-quality work consistently in a busy workshop environment Motivated, committed, and a good team player Willingness to work towards team targetsThis is a fantastic chance to further your career within a well-established, family-oriented business offering excellent career growth opportunities.
