Vehicle Technician

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Crawley. As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work. You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role, our client is happy to put you through your qualifications! Location: Crawley Pay / salary: Basic: £32,000 to £34,000 OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600 Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.   Benefits: 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays Uncapped Bonus scheme OTE £3,600 Will put you though your level 3 qualifications both IMI & Hybrid Extensive on-going training programme Career development: training and Company growth to boost career progression Staff discounts on servicing, tyres, and MOTs Life Insurance Pension scheme Employee Assistant Program Long service recognition, enhance maternity and paternity leave Retail vouchers, eye care vouchers, buy/sell holidays, flu jab, cycle to work scheme, Company events  Vehicle Technician Responsibilities: Light and full-service work Fast fit duties such as, Replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians  To be a Vehicle Technician you will need: Valid UK driving licence – Essential Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed) Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars  Our client They have over 180 centres within the UK and are actively growing, they are known for their strong national presence, modern service centres and commitment to customer care.
