As an Out of Hours Visiting General Practitioner with Practice Plus Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with urgent medical needs in a fast-paced but rewarding setting.

We are looking for motivated GPs who are passionate about urgent care and eager to contribute to our ongoing mission to provide accessible, safe, and effective healthcare outside regular surgery hours. During my GP training the part which I enjoyed the most was the out-of-hours (OOH) element with Harmoni (which later became Care UK, now the Practice Plus Group). With no administrative tasks, bloods to file, documents to check, it was as close to the acute care as a GP could get. I was very well supported by Practice Plus Group during this time and was able to excel and make a mark.
