VMWare Engineer Location: BARROW IN FURNESS 5 days on site Duration: 3 months + potential extension Rate £480 - £530 MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA CONTRACTOR MUST BE SC CLEARED (active) NATIONAL - MOD SC CLEARED PREFERABLE Summary The focus of your role Be responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated timeframes Undertake Project Tasks, supporting Project Managers Possess exceptional customer handling skillsYour skills and experience Components - VMware workspace 1 and CyberArk Provide technical guidance and overview for the build and deployment of new/replacement tablets For Vmware Workspace One device policy maintenance ensure the device policies are maintained and updated according to business needs. Carry out version updates to Vmware Workspace ONE An in-depth knowledge and good understanding of Microsoft Windows O/S (Windows 10 & Windows 7), including build, configuration and registry settings is required, along with a level of proficiency in Microsoft Office. SCCM experience including OS deployment, application deployment, faulting finding, monitoring and reporting desired Networks experience to include an understanding of LAN/WAN/vLAN and Wi-Fi technologies, DHCP, DNS/WINS, PXE and VPN/remote connectivity Automation - Understanding of Scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VB Scripting, and batch Files is beneficial Security - knowledge of disk encryption using bit locker, NTFS permissions and shared folder security An appreciation of the Microsoft Exchange environment, email client configuration, MS Outlook, instant messaging tools (Skype for business), along with general etiquette Computer peripherals - including but not limited to printers (including MFD's), display screens, docking stations, port replicators, cameras and scanners Working Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) software (ServiceNow)Special Requirements or Accreditations * Possesses SC clearance with a minimum of 6 months remaining * Be a sole UK National * Has not been outside the UK for >28 consecutive days in the last 5 years If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
