Key Responsibilities of an Cyber Vulnerability Researcher Conduct vulnerability research across a wide variety of platforms and technologies
Perform reverse engineering on complex software and systems
Support exploit development and proof-of-concept creation
Develop and utilise bespoke tooling to support research activities
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary technical teams
Share knowledge and mentor junior team members
Deliver findings and technical insights to a range of audiences
What We're Looking For in an Cyber Vulnerability Researcher Experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering or exploit development
Familiarity with tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Unicorn and debugging platforms
Knowledge of low-level programming and system internals
Understanding of the vulnerability and exploit development lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
A passion for cybersecurity and emerging threats
Experience gained through professional work, bug bounty programmes, research projects or Capture The Flag competitions is highly valued
