Job Title: Ward Clerk Hours: Monday – Friday either 7am – 3pm and weekends optional. Location: Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT Trust Location: Cross site working DRI Doncaster Royal Infirmary, DN2 5LT BDGH, Kilton Hill, Worksop, S81 0BD Contract Type: Temporary – 8 weeks minimum Reference: 90704 What you’ll be responsible for: · To meet and greet all patients/visitors to the ward and allow access via any electronic entry system. · Answering the telephone promptly, taking messages/action and re-directing calls as necessary. · Data entry in respect of all attendances outside clinic/telephone consultations. · Maintaining an up-to-date location status for the patient’s case notes, using the tracker system, throughout the patient’s stay. · General photocopying and copying of case notes, when requested, for the transfer of patients to other hospitals.
