Forklift Driver – Full-Time, Permanent – £13.50 per hour Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing environment in Poole. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who holds a Counterbalance FLT licence and is looking for a stable, long-term position. Key Responsibilities for the Forklift Driver: Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently Loading and unloading deliveries using the FLT Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas Carrying out goods in and goods out duties Checking incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and damage Booking stock in and out using warehouse management systems Picking, preparing and moving stock ready for dispatch Loading vehicles and ensuring goods are secured correctly Moving pallets and materials to allocated storage locations Maintaining accurate stock records and completing relevant paperwork Supporting stock checks and general warehouse organisation Working closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Following all company health and safety procedures at all times Carrying out general warehouse duties as requiredWhat the Forklift Driver will need: Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment A valid Counterbalance FLT licence – essential Flexi/Reach FLT licence is highly desirable Recent and confident experience operating a forklift Experience with goods in and goods out Experience using warehouse or stock control systems Good attention to detail when checking stock and deliveries Comfortable working with paperwork and computer-based systems Good understanding of warehouse health and safety Reliable, punctual and hardworking Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Flexible attitude and willingness to support across the warehouseWhat We Offer the Successful Forklift Driver: Competitive hourly rate Monday to Friday, full time Stable opportunity within an established manufacturing business Opportunity to develop your warehouse and FLT experience Supportive working environment On-site parkingImportant: Candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence,a nd Full UK Driving license.
