Warehouse Operative Preston Brook £13.92 per hour Monday to Friday - 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm Temporary Ongoing (Permanent Opportunities Available) Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy warehouse team. The role involves handling, moving, picking, and packing furniture and white goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position and develop new skills within the logistics sector. Responsibilities Picking and packing furniture and white goods for customer orders Loading and unloading deliveries Manual handling and physical lifting of furniture, appliances, and other large items throughout the shift Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are packed securely Moving stock safely around the warehouse Conducting basic quality checks on products before dispatch Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Following all health and safety procedures Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as requiredRequirements Previous warehouse experience (desirable) Ability to carry out repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting duties Comfortable working with large and bulky items such as furniture and white goods Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively within a team environment Reliable and punctual approach to work Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training Good understanding of health and safety practicesWhat’s On Offer Immediate start available Monday to Friday working pattern Permanent opportunities available for the right candidates Opportunity to gain training and upskill on MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Supportive and fast-paced working environmentIf you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please apply immediately or contact Pertemps Liverpool
