Warehouse Operative

Job description: Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the distribution industry. Our client, who is a well-recognised distribution company is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to work at their busy warehouse in Bury St Edmunds. Duties: * Loading and unloading deliveries. * Heavy lifting - up to 25 KG. * Order Picking items using a handheld scanner. * Packing orders and preparing them for dispatch. * Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy. Hours & Pay: * Monday to Friday * Full-time 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, 7 am - 3.30 pm, 8 am - 4.30 pm or 9:00 am- 5:00 pm or 2 pm – 10.30 pm * Between £12.71 - £15.71 £per hour. Benefits: * Free onsite parking * Temporary to a permanent role * Overtime available in peak times * Immediate start Personal Specification: * Must have warehouse experience. * Be reliable and trustworthy. * Excellent attention to detail. * Be physically fit and able to do some heavy lifting. * Own transport is desirable due to company location. * Fork-Lift Licences will be treated as advantageous, but are not essential This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with clear progression routes for suitable candidates.
