Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team. This is a key role responsible for the receipt, inspection, and accurate processing of inbound goods to ensure stock is handled efficiently and meets company standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics, or goods-in experience who is looking to develop within a growing organisation. Warehouse Operative responsibilities: * Receiving and booking in deliveries using warehouse systems * Unloading goods safely and efficiently (manual handling required) * Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes * Inspecting goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues * Accurately labelling and storing stock in designated locations * Updating stock systems and maintaining accurate inventory records * Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations * Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment * Following all health & safety procedures at all times Skills & experience required: * Previous experience as a warehouse operative / goods in / inbound operative (preferred but not essential) * Good attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Basic IT or warehouse management system knowledge * Strong team player with a positive attitude * Physically fit and able to handle manual work * Forklift licence (desirable but not essential) Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy
