Warehouse Operative

Holt Engineering are working with a busy cable assembly and electronics manufacturing company Based in Portsmouth. They are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their steadily growing team. If you have warehouse experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have great attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm with an early finish on Fridays!  Paying £12.71 Per Hour  Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:  Picking and issuing components to the production team. Heavy lifting and manual handling of cables Cutting and stripping cables for dispatch and production using cutting machines  Packing and preparing finished cable assemblies for dispatch. Labelling and organising stock within the warehouse. Loading and unloading deliveries  Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures. Supporting production by ensuring materials are available when required.What We're Looking For in a Warehouse Operative:  Previous warehouse or stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills.
