The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the YORK area. We are looking for multiple Warehouse Operatives to join the team.

THIS ROLE IS A PERMENANT POSITION FOR THE CORRECT CANDIDATE!

Hours: Monday to Friday, weekends available - Midnight-10:30am
Pay Rate: £12.71
Location: York YO30

The role:

• Sort and organise incoming parcels accurately and efficiently based on designated routes and destinations.
• Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other equipment to facilitate the sorting process.
• Ensure proper labelling and categorisation of parcels to prevent errors in delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
• Identify damaged parcels and follow company protocols for proper handling and documentation.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, optimising space utilisation.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
