Warehouse Operatives - Permanent Wellingborough Hours - Monday to Friday (Apply online only) or (Apply online only) Salary £Negotiable/Competitive We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and established operation in Wellingborough. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position will involve manual handling and regular heavy lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is important. THE ROLE You'll support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and prepared accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities will include: Loading and unloading deliveries. Manual handling and lifting of potentially heavy goods. Checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork. Picking and preparing customer orders. Packing and labelling goods ready for dispatch. Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse. Preparing goods for collection and delivery. Assisting with vehicle loading where required. Carrying out stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Maintaining accurate warehouse records and system information. Working closely with sales, production and transport teams. Ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately and on time. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. Following all company Health & Safety and manual-handling procedures. Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.ABOUT YOU We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and physically capable, with a positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in. You'll ideally have: Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution experience. Experience with manual handling and lifting. The physical capability to safely handle heavy or bulky items throughout the working day. Good attention to detail. A reliable and hardworking approach. Good organisation and time-management skills. The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy. Basic computer skills. Good communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of Health & Safety.Forklift experience/licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
