Warehouse Operative Location: Reading Immediate start  Shift Patterns & Pay 06:00–14:00: £12.71ph (Mon–Fri) | £13.57ph (Sat) | £21.12ph (Sun/Bank Holidays) 14:00-22:00: £13.42ph (Mon–Fri) | £16.28ph (Sat) | £21.12ph (Sun/Bank Holidays) 22:00-06:00: £14.52ph (Sun-Friday) | £21.12ph (Sat/Bank Holidays) Pertemps Reading are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a leading logistics and distribution operation in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with immediate starts, full training and genuine long-term opportunities. Please note: All successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test as part of the induction process. The Role As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for: Picking and packing customer orders accurately. Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently. Moving stock throughout the warehouse using pallet trucks (full training provided). Receiving, checking and putting away incoming goods. Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring accurate labelling. Breaking down cardboard and operating the baler. Carrying out stock checks and general warehouse duties. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment. Following all health and safety procedures while working to quality and productivity standards. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse experience is desirable. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
