Summary
We’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s busy distribution centre in Washington on an ongoing temporary assignment, expected to run until approximately November/December. This role suits individuals who are reliable, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable with physically active work.
Salary
Weeks 1–4:
First 38.75 hours: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday credit)
Overtime: £20.65 per hour (inclusive of holiday credit)
Sundays (if Saturday worked) and Bank Holidays: £27.54 per hour
After 4 weeks:
First 38.75 hours: £15.83 per hour (inclusive of holiday credit)
Overtime: £22.46 per hour (inclusive of holiday credit)
Sundays (if Saturday worked) and Bank Holidays: £29.94 per hourLocation and Working Pattern
Location: Washington
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly between
06:00 – 14:15
11:00 – 19:15
Candidates must be able to cover both shifts.Client Overview Our client operates a busy distribution centre, providing essential support for their supply operations. They are seeking dependable team members to help manage high volumes during peak periods.
Responsibilities
Unload deliveries safely and efficiently
Pick and prepare orders accurately
Pack goods for dispatch
Complete manual handling and lifting tasks
Inflate footballs as required
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environmentMust-have Requirements
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and manual handling
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern
Strong reliability and work ethicNice-to-have Skills
